Age 48 of Gary, IN. passed away Friday July 23, 2010 in her transition to New Beginnings preceded in death by mother, Henrietta A. Richards; fathe, Fred Richards. Survived by husband, Leon L. Harris, Sr. Gary, IN; sons, Leon L. (Shameka) Harris, Jr., Lamar A Harris; one daughter, Lamesha T. (Erick Clark) Harris; brother, Fredrick (Sandra) Richards; sisters, Marcia L. Turner, Mona L. Richards and Myra L. (Robert) Turner. Five grandchildren, Shamiah, Shanorah, Shalialia Harris, Neimiah Garza, and Janiella Clark; 2 aunts, Vera Nickerson and Alva Henderson; best friend, Valarie Strickland and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, friends, in-laws. Former member of New Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1980 Graduate Roosevelt High School. She worked as a CNA, CDA, Entrepreneur of Finer Designs and Creations. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to so many and will be heartfully missed.
